April 28th-Which Disney Scene Would I Like To Experience?

Hi all!

Welcome to Day 28 of the 30 Day Disney Blogging Challenge!

Today’s question was really difficult. I had to pick one Disney scene I would like to experience for myself. How could I choose from so many wonderful, magical moments? I thought about the things that exist in the Disney realm but not in ours. What is something I and so many others would love to do but cannot? Then it hit me!

FLY TO NEVERLAND!

These are Tsum Tsum stickers from my collection!

In Peter Pan, our lovable, cheeky hero visits the Darling family in the dead of night looking for his shadow. In the process, he wakes children Wendy, John and Michael who have a lust for adventure. Wendy reveals that she never wants to grow up which gives Peter an idea. He decides to take her and her brothers to Neverland where nobody ages. However, to get there they need to fly. Peter tells the kids that they just need to think of happy thoughts. Any happy little thought. They need to be so full of joy that just thinking about them will cause levitation. After a bit of practice and a sprinkle of pixie-dust from jealous Tinkerbell, the Darling’s begin floating around the room. They are ready to leave…

The directions to Neverland are to find the second star to the right and follow it straight on till morning. The group fly through the streets of London, landing on magnificent Big Ben’s clock-face. The entire city sleeps There is so much excitement in the air. I remember watching as a child and just wishing I could go on the journey with them. I even tried thinking happy thoughts but alas without pixie-dust, I didn’t get very far! They watch Peter play his flute and soar amongst the clouds. The beautiful song You Can Fly plays as they dip and dive.

In the morning, they reach the wonderful world of Neverland. There is a mermaid lagoon, jungles, forests, pirate-ships (with the fearsome Captain Hook), Indian camp, Cannibal Cove, Skull Rock, Hangman’s Tree & much more! Not only would I love to be able to fly, I would do anything to fly to Neverland and explore all of the wondrous places within. Also, how nice would it be to spend your life somewhere you could never grow up? If my Genie from Aladdin could grant me one Disney experience, this would be mine. What about yours? Tell me all about it!

  1. I am so glad I came across your blog! I love Disney! I agree on experiencing Peter Pan. The magic carpet ride would also be amazing and I wouldn’t mind an evening of dressing up and meeting a handsome prince. 🙂

  2. I love that scene from Peter Pan. So full of hope and possibility! Also love the Aladdin one and the Circle of Life from The Lion King. Would so love to soar above the world and also be down on the ground celebrating the times that are today 🙂
