A Love Letter To My Future Self…

Dear Rebecca Olivia Rossi…

I love you now, completely and without condition. I cannot even begin to imagine how much I’m going to love you when you read this again. I have no doubt that you are still a wonderful, kind-hearted, free-spirited, thoughtful and intelligent being. Knowing you, you are still that same person that romanticises life and sees magic in the everyday; in the ordinary. By now, you must be a mother. Congratulations. All of your dreams have come true and they happened at exactly the right time didn’t they? See…you worried for nothing. I’ll bet they are beautiful. I’ll bet they carry that same twinkle in their eyes. They are the product of true love – how could they not? I’m sure as sure can be that you are a fantastic mother. That house you were manifesting is filled with love and laughter. The children adore you both. I’m proud because you created your dream life. You knew exactly what you wanted and you made it happen. You did it all with integrity and grace. I can picture you now, cuddled up in bed with your family reading out loud. Teaching them the values that you and Francis share. Exploring the big wide world all together.

It wasn’t easy getting to this place of peace but boy was it worth it. I’m so happy that you never let fear stop you. You’ve always taken the hard road but I know you wouldn’t have it any other way. Keep choosing self-love every day. Manifest all your heart desires. Everything you envision can and will be yours. Keep believing in yourself and your passions/gifts/abilities. You have so much more potential than you ever give yourself credit for. Write, create, read and journal. Travel. Radiate positivity. Breathe. Trust that the universe will always take care of you. It always has and it always will. Maintain close relationships with family and friends. Share your joys with the world. Do what makes you feel alive. Embrace vulnerability and imperfection. Smile. Stand strong with your beliefs. Be confident in your convictions. Accept that you’re going to make mistakes no matter how careful you are. That’s okay. You’re going to do amazing things.

I hope you never lose your childish spirit and cheeky sense of humour. Life isn’t always going to be easy but you have proven over and over that you are resilient, strong and unwavering. I have the utmost faith that nothing will ever break you. Continue to follow your heart and trust your intuition – it will always guide you to exactly where you need to be. There is so much good to look forward to and so many beautiful memories to reflect back on. I’m proud of who you are and what you will become as time moves forward.

You always said your biggest inspiration was your future self. Well, you were right. The world is a better place because you’re in it. Believe that.
