My Bookmark Collection!

Hi all!

Last year, in my My Mini Rainbow Bookshelf Tour! I mentioned sharing a potential future bookmark collection post. Well, that day has come! I have accumulated quite a few over the years but rest assured every single one of them gets used and loved. You see, I have a strange quirk. My bookmark must match my book. For example, if I’m reading a blue book, I will use my Sailor Mercury bookmark to complement it. Tell me if you do the same. I’ll try to source where I got them all from but some may no longer available for purchase. Without further ado, let’s get into it!

THE SAILOR MOON COLLECTION

Can you tell I love Sailor Moon? I adore my little collection. I bought the laminated set on the top row from Etsy. Unfortunately, this was years ago and I cannot find the store that made them but click here for something similar. From left to right, we have Sailor Mercury, Sailor Mars, Sailor Moon, Sailor Jupiter and Sailor Venus. On the bottom row, we have Sailor Moon dressed as a cute bear, Luna (her sidekick cat), Sailor Moon’s Star Locket and Sailor Neptune (my second favourite Sailor Scout – my first being Sailor Mercury). I bought all of these from HelloPaperCat. Some are still available but not all. This website is so adorable. It’s really difficult not to splurge on there.

THE DISNEY COLLECTION

How surprised are you that I have a Disney collection? Not very I wager! I bought all of these (except for Sally) from the Etsy Store: ReadandWonder. You can buy large sets (like the top row) and mini sets (like the bottom row). From left to right, we have Mulan, Ariel, Belle, Snow White, Jasmine, Elsa, Rapunzel, Anna and Sally. Snow White is my absolute favourite out of all them. I just love her design. Sally was from HelloPaperCat. I would like to collect the rest of the Disney Princesses.

THE MISC COLLECTION

Here is my miscellaneous collection. On the left is a 2018 Bookmark Calendar. My sister bought me this one for Christmas. You get to rip off a new bookmark every month. They have really adorable quotes and images on them. I am currently using my January one. The character in the blue is from a previous YA Chronicles Box. He is Kell from A Darker Shade of Magic series by Victoria Schwab. I have not read these books yet but they are on my Kindle. ‘You Had Me At Pizza’ and the cute Alpaca are from HelloPaperCat. The two Ravenclaw bookmarks are from the gift-shop at the Harry Potter Studio Tour in London that I visited in June 2017. The bookmark on the right is also from a previous YA Chronicles BoxIt says ‘our backs tell stories no books have the spine to carry’ – Rupi Kaur. I love the colour scheme and wooden design.

I hope you enjoyed this post. Let me know which bookmark was your favourite! Do you prefer magnetic ones, wooden ones etc…?

Peace & Love xoxo

  1. Your Sailormoon bookmark collection is sooo cute! My favourites are Sailor Moon, Sailor Venus and Sailor Neptune! Big fan of the comics and TV while growing up. For bookmarks, I like them plain and simple paper. It may sound boring, but I really like it that way. I’ve never understood how the magnetic bookmarks work…maybe you clip a piece of paper in between them, haha! Another creative post from you my friend. Miss you heaps and cannot wait to see you when I see you again xxx

    1. Thank you my friend! I’m so glad you liked it! It’s not boring, a bookmark can be made from anything 🙂 the magnetic ones clip a piece of paper between them and the cute face peek out over the top of your book. I love it. Miss you lots! Cannot wait to see you again! This time dinner will be my treat 🙂 xx
