Why I’m A Ravenclaw!

‘Wit beyond measure is man’s greatest treasure’ – Rowena Ravenclaw.

Hi all!

Today I am going to be discussing why I am a Ravenclaw and the overall traits that come with being in this particular Hogwarts House.

From the moment I started reading the Harry Potter series by J.K. Rowling, I found myself resonating with the Ravenclaw House. The members pride themselves on wit, wisdom and a yearning for knowledge. I have always considered myself a lifelong student, forever willing and eager to learn. I also believe I am quite witty when I want to be. I enjoy clever humour and the ability to make others laugh via intelligent observation.

Furthermore, my favourite colour has and always will be blue. The Ravenclaw House colours are blue and bronze with the emblem of an eagle. Their element is Air which is also the element of Gemini, my zodiac sign.

Finally, all Ravenclaws are known for their originality and creativity. They are more likely to perform spells that are quite outside the box and possess a quirkiness that is endearing. My favourite Harry Potter character is Luna Lovegood, who is a fellow Ravenclaw and unique witch. I like to believe I’m highly creative and do things a little differently to others. I am happiest paving my own way through life and setting myself apart from the crowd.

Every single test I’ve taken online has sorted me into Ravenclaw. I feel very connected to this House. If you haven’t done so yet, take the one on Pottermore. It is the most accurate and in-depth. We all have a Hogwarts House that we belong to. What’s yours? I would love to know in the comments below!

Thanks for reading!

Peace & Love xoxo

  1. I actually never did the quiz before. I did it just now and got Ravenclaw! Think it is a great fit for me like you too – creative and I like being an original. Hope you are well my friend xxxx

  2. I am Slytherin which I still wonder about. I get Slytherin on almost all the tests I take but I do not see myself as sneaky or sly. I always thought I would be more Gryfindor!

      1. I am both but my mind always thinks of a snake when I think of Slytherin. It does it unconsciously and creates this fixed image I have to get away from.
