Hi all!
I’m back with another free-trial review from Mouths of Mums. You can check out the other ones here. In keeping with the usual theme, I want to give you my honest thoughts about the item and then have a quick discussion about a random topic. I recently tested positive for Covid-19, so with the featured product being centered around cleanliness/hygiene, I felt it fitting to discuss my experience with this well-known virus. Without further ado, let’s get into it!
I was recently given the opportunity to review Chux Dual Action Wet Wipes in the scent of citrus. The wipes are antibacterial, with a smooth side for wiping and a textured side for lifting grime and dust. You can use them on bench-tops, sinks, taps, stove-tops, microwaves, bins, toilets, glass, mirrors, tiles, walls, floors, showers and baths. They also promise a streak-free shine and non-scratch application. I love the feel and smell of them. I used them in my bathroom and was really impressed with how clean the surfaces were afterwards. In this day and age, it’s really important to use cleaning products that kill 99.99% of bacteria and germs. I highly recommend them. They also come in an ocean fragrance. Find out more here.
Now onto the discussion topic. Last week, my daughter’s daycare called and asked me to pick her up because her nose was running. She had seemed fine that morning but when I brought her home, I decided to test her and the result came back positive. Not long afterwards, I started to feel unwell and sure enough, I too was infected with Covid. In particular, the Omicron variant. Luckily, I was already fully vaccinated and boosted. I know everybody’s experience is different but I had a pretty bad cold, cough and sore throat. My husband also tested positive. Out of the three of us, my little girl recovered the fastest. I’m now past the isolation period and feeling a lot better but it definitely wasn’t fun. I shudder to think what it would have been like if I wasn’t vaccinated. I strongly urge you to keep up to date with your vaccinations and boosters. It doesn’t matter how healthy you are, you don’t ever want to take chances with this virus. Plus, it helps keep your community and those around you safe.
