Hi all!
I’m back with another product review from Social Soup. You can check out my other ones here. In keeping with the usual theme, I want to give you my honest thoughts about the item and then have a quick discussion about a random topic. For this post, I will briefly share some news about my new job! Without further ado, let’s get into it!
I was given the opportunity to review Fry’s Plant-Based Popcorn Chick’N. I had already tried them before I was invited into the campaign and was very happy. I think it’s great that vegan options like this exist. I cooked them in the oven for 15 minutes and they came out so crispy. Even better, they taste like the real thing. A great snack for kids too! Also, can we talk about the packaging? I’m obsessed. You can pick up your own packet at Woolworths or Coles in Australia.
Now onto the discussion topic! Recently, I accepted a new position in Cultural Services, working across three different museums near where I live. If you didn’t know, over 10 years ago, I completed my Postgraduate Diploma in Museum Management at Deakin University. I spent years trying to break into the field (volunteering, internships etc.) but was never successful. My core passion lay in Collections and Archives. A decade later, I can officially say my career has begun. On my first shift, I was told my degree would be put to good use and would I be interested in moving into Collections. It’s a dream come true and I’m overjoyed. I’ve had a rough year and I finally feel like things are looking up. I hope this can inspire whoever reads it to never give up and that good things come to those who wait.
I hope you enjoyed this post. You can add your comments down below. Thanks for reading!
Peace & Love xoxo
