Hustle Culture Has To Go! (Epzen Product Review!)

Hi all!

I’m back with another product review from Social Soup. You can check out my other ones here. In keeping with the usual theme, I want to give you my honest thoughts about the item and then have a quick discussion about a random topic. For this post, I am going to discuss the harmful nature of hustle culture. Without further ado, let’s get into it!

I was given the opportunity to review a new product by Epzen and chose the Dream BubbleNatural Aromatic Bathing Bubbles. This is honestly the best item I’ve gotten to test. I love having baths. Not only that, the products themselves are valued at $17 and can be found at your local Coles in Australia. I was given the option to trial the body scrub, body wash, in-shower moisturiser, magnesium bath flakes or bubble bath. I went with the one I would get the most use out of. As a reader, I love to soak with a good book. It is infused with magnesium, cedarwood, sweet orange and vanilla essential oils. Simply blissful!

Now onto the discussion topic! If you didn’t know, hustle culture is the idea that overworking yourself is a positive thing. It teaches us that there’s always more money to make, bigger hills to climb and important promotions/titles on the horizon. Not surprisingly, it thrives on your stress to be as productive as possible. If you are under the influence of hustle culture, you’re more likely to burn out. Over time, this can take a significant toll on your mental and physical health. At the end of your life, you’re not going to remember all of the hours you put into your day job. Try to find a healthy work/life balance (I have some tips here) and be mindful of your energy levels. There is nothing wrong with hard work and aspiring for more but when it consumes you, it becomes toxic. The “grind” is glamourised and it shouldn’t be. What do you think?

I hope you enjoyed this post. You can add your comments down below. Thanks for reading!

Peace & Love xoxo
