On August 6th, I flew to Melbourne for the weekend to attend Drag Expo Australia with my sister and brother-in-law. We also saw Hamilton on stage that evening – phenomenal! I wanted to review the event, as we all know by now, I am a massive fan of RuPaul’s Drag Race. I got tickets as a birthday present in 2020 but alas, it was postponed due to the pandemic. We initially had meet-and-greet passes to see Manila Luzon but by 2022, the talent list had changed and she was no longer available. Nevertheless, we still saw plenty of the franchise’s beloved queens and had an amazing time. Full photo credits go to my brother-in-law Nick. Without further ado, let’s get into the post!
In order to meet the queens and get a photo with them, you had to buy their personal merchandise. I bought this pin to support Art Simone and my sister bought me the ‘Reading is Fundamental’ pin.Speaking of Art Simone, we got a photo with her!
