I am so excited to finally share my latest creation! Meet LEFTY: 10 Spine Prickling Stories by Rebecca Rossi. This is my first horror story collection, focused on the theme of personal darkness. Without further ado, let’s get into some FAQ’s!
1.) Release Date?
I am aiming for February 2024, possibly earlier. My poetry collection, New Normal and last horror novella, The Devil Within Me was released around that time as well. It’s becoming a bit of a tradition.
2.) Who Designed The Cover?
The fabulous and talented Virginia McKevitt, who also designed the cover for The Devil Within Me. I am obsessed! This may just be my favourite one so far.
3.) What Inspired LEFTY?
I am left-handed and remember my superstitious, Catholic Italian grandmother slapping my hand whenever I used it. She believed being left-handed was a mark of the devil, so I decided to lean into that. Each story references a darker side of myself (e.g., mental health, triggers etc.). It’s my way of embracing those facets I usually keep hidden.
