‘Around The World’ Christmas Celebration! – Photo Diary

Advertisements

Hi all!

On Christmas Eve, my family and I got together for our annual festive celebration. Every single year we dress up according to a new theme, play games, eat lots of delicious food and open our gifts at midnight. It is my absolute favourite time. This year’s theme was ‘Around the World.’ We had to pick a random country out of a hat and wear a costume related to that place. You could be as creative as you wanted. The best part was, nobody knew what the other person got so it was a big surprise on the evening. I thought I would share with you all the photos taken that night, courtesy of my sister. As you can see below, I picked France so I came as a mime. Enjoy!

I love the colours of Christmas…
Christmas crackers ready to be popped
The table is set…
Many Christmas cards on display
Lots of yummy desserts including plenty of vegan options!
The stockings from our childhood hung with care
My sister picked Brazil. How amazing is her tropical bird makeup?
Francis picked India and I, France
My cousin chose Italy
My cousin had selected China. Loved her panda head!
My uncle had chosen Greece. He came as the late, famous singer Demis Russos.
My cousin’s girlfriend on the left had selected Mexico. She is wearing a green poncho in this photograph but her stick-on moustache is not pictured.
Opening our presents at midnight…
Our crazy family! My mum is wearing the blue and red. She picked the UK. My cousin dressed all in black, holding the bottle of vodka chose Russia and my auntie in the colourful dress had selected Africa.

I hope you enjoyed this post. Thank you to my sister for taking the photos. We had another wonderful Christmas. I cannot wait to see what we do next! Happy holidays.

Peace & Love xoxo
