The Ultimate Reading Challenge #14 – Re-Read A Book You Loved As A Child!

Hi all!

Welcome back to The Ultimate Reading Challenge! I outlined in 2022 how the new series will work here, so check that out before progressing further. For my 14th challenge, I read The Enchanted Wood by Enid Blyton. As a child, I was obsessed with The Magic Faraway Tree. Today I am going to share my thoughts on it, as well as my prize for completing the prompt. Without further ado, let’s get into it!

Plot: ‘The Enchanted Wood’ by Enid Blyton:

Three siblings find the Enchanted Wood on the doorstep of their new home, and when they discover the Faraway Tree, they fall into all sorts of adventures!

Review: ‘The Enchanted Wood’ by Enid Blyton:

I had so much nostalgia revisiting this beloved childhood classic. It made me smile the entire way through. Whilst it is quite dated in its language and political correctness, Enid still manages to capture the magic that a child of today would appreciate.

Prize For Completing The Challenge:

As you can see below, my prize for completing the prompt was a tiny pack of Book Darts. You can use these as page markers to avoid dog-earing. I probably won’t need them, but they are cute!

Thank you so much for reading! I will see you next month for a new bookish challenge!

Peace & Love xoxo
